Stop the renewal, keep your options
How to Cancel a Lebara Plan and Stop Auto-Renewal
For a 30-day rolling plan, cancellation means switching off the next renewal. The current plan keeps running until its expiry date, so there is no need for a dramatic farewell speech.
Three jobs that look similar
Are you stopping a renewal, changing plan or leaving?
Pick the route before pressing buttons. It is much easier to preserve a number now than to hold a tiny memorial service for it later.
Stop the next payment
Turn off auto-renew in MyLebara. The active 30-day plan remains usable until its expiry date.1
Move to another network
Use a PAC if you want to keep the number, or a STAC if you do not. Give the code to the new provider.
Undo an unused purchase
Contact support promptly. Lebara describes a limited balance-refund route when no allowance has been used.3
For a 30-day rolling SIM-only plan
Turn off auto-renew in MyLebara
- Sign in to MyLebara.Use the official website or app. Lebara supports both routes for this setting.1
- Select the correct mobile number. If the account holds more than one line, use the dashboard dropdown rather than assuming the first line is yours.
- Open Manage.Choose the plan whose renewal you want to stop.
- Toggle auto-renew off.Lebara's current help page gives this as the cancellation method for a rolling plan.1
- Check the result.Return to the plan screen and confirm auto-renew still shows as off. Keep any confirmation message or a screenshot.
Cancellation is not immediate deletion
What remains after auto-renew is off?
Lebara says you can keep using the current plan's remaining allowances until its expiry date.1 That means you need not burn through every gigabyte by midnight merely because you moved a switch.
At expiry, the plan allowance does not roll into another month. Lebara separately says any pay-as-you-go credit can remain usable for up to 90 days after the plan expires.1 Plan allowance and PAYG credit are different pots, which explains wording that otherwise looks rather contradictory.
If you might want Lebara again, check the current referral plans at the point you return. Eligibility, introductory prices and renewal terms can change.
Leaving the network
Use the switching route if your number matters
Do not treat “turn off auto-renew” and “move my number” as the same instruction. To leave Lebara and keep the number, text PAC to 65075. To switch without keeping it, text STAC to 75075. Lebara also lists INFO to 85075 for balance information.2
- Request the appropriate code.PAC keeps the number. STAC lets the new provider end the old service without moving the number.
- Read the reply.Check the number and any account information before proceeding.
- Give the code to the new provider.Let the switching process close the old service rather than cancelling the line first.
- Keep both SIMs available.Wait until the switch has completed and test calls, texts and data on the new service.
The separate Lebara PAC guide covers code validity and the full moving-day routine.
Bought the wrong plan?
An unused recent plan may have a balance-refund route
Lebara says it can refund the plan cost to your account balance if you have used none of the allowance and ask within 14 days of purchase.3 Notice the destination: the official wording says to your balance, not automatically back to the original payment card.
Contact support before using calls, texts or data from that plan. Have the Lebara number and account details ready. If you simply want a different allowance next month, stopping auto-renew and choosing the replacement carefully may be less bother.
If you are comparing a fresh line instead, open the current Lebara offer and check the selected plan, discount period and normal renewal price before paying.
If the switch will not stay off
Contact support with useful evidence
Try MyLebara on the other route first: website if the app is misbehaving, or app if the website is stuck. Make sure you selected the intended number, reload the Manage screen and note the plan expiry or renewal time.
Lebara lists chat and phone support from 7am to 11pm UK time every day. Dial 5588 from a Lebara SIM or +44 207 0310791 from another network or outside the UK; the second call may cost whatever your operator charges.4
Its web form has a stated response target of 5-7 working days, so chat or phone makes more sense when renewal is close.4 Give the mobile number, plan name, attempted time and screenshot. Never send your password.

Quick answers
Lebara cancellation questions
Does turning off auto-renew cancel the plan immediately?
No. Lebara says the current plan remains usable until its expiry date. The setting stops the next renewal.
Can I still use my allowance?
Yes, until the current plan expires. Unused plan allowance does not continue into another month after expiry.
What happens to PAYG credit?
Lebara says PAYG credit can remain usable for up to 90 days after the plan expires. Keep it separate in your mind from the plan's minutes, texts and data.
How do I leave but keep my number?
Text PAC to 65075 and give the code to the new provider. Let that switching process move the number and close the old service.
Can I get money back for the wrong plan?
Lebara describes a refund to account balance when none of the allowance has been used and the request is made within 14 days. Contact support rather than assuming auto-renew controls will reverse it.
