The complete price board

All six rolling plans, without the scavenger hunt

Lebara's current 30-day range starts at £5 for 5GB and ends at £30 for Unlimited Plus. The official listing gives each plan a UK allowance and a separate international-minute allowance.1 That second allowance deserves attention. Buying more UK data does not always buy more calls abroad.

5GB£51,000 minutes and texts100Light use with plenty of Wi-Fi
50GB£15Unlimited500More streaming and longer calls abroad

Unlimited Data£25Unlimited100More than 100GB of UK data, modest overseas calling
Unlimited Plus£30UnlimitedUnlimitedVery heavy data and international calling

The phrase "unlimited" remains subject to Lebara's fair-use rules, which limit the service to legitimate private, personal and domestic use.7 Prices and allowances can move, so treat the live checkout as the final word.

The six-plan ladder is simple until international minutes enter the room. Compare both allowances before choosing.

The trap in the middle

100GB can be a better plan than Unlimited Data

This is the detail most likely to save someone a fiver each month. The £20 100GB plan publishes unlimited international minutes. The £25 Unlimited Data plan publishes only 100 international minutes.1

If 100GB is enough for your UK use and you make long calls to included countries, the cheaper plan is the stronger package. Unlimited Data earns its extra £5 only when you genuinely need more than 100GB and 100 overseas minutes is enough.

Unlimited Plus restores unlimited international minutes at £30. Its product page also states that those calls cover more than 50 countries, with an additional 1,000 minutes to India.8 Check the country and number type you call. "International" is a category, not every telephone on Earth.

Choose by the job

Which Lebara plan should you actually buy?

A giant allowance is not better value when most of it expires untouched. Start with your normal month, allow some breathing room, then inspect the international column.

  • 5GB for a phone that lives near Wi-FiGood for messages, maps, email and light browsing. The 1,000-minute UK limit matters only to unusually talkative light-data users.
  • 30GB as the sensible starting pointIt gives unlimited UK calls and texts and enough data for regular social media, music and occasional video. Compare your phone's recent usage rather than trusting a generic label.
  • 50GB when video or calls abroad are growingThe data step is useful, but the jump from 100 to 500 international minutes may be the better reason to pay £15.
  • 100GB for heavy use with a valuable call allowanceThis is the first plan published with unlimited international minutes. It deserves a look before either unlimited-data tier.
  • Unlimited Data only when 100GB is not enoughIt removes the UK data ceiling but drops the international allowance back to 100 minutes.
  • Unlimited Plus when both needs are genuinely largeChoose it for unlimited UK data and the largest published international allowance, not because "Plus" looks comforting.

Price versus freedom

The 12-month range saves 10%, but flexibility has a value too

Lebara publishes a matching annual range at 10% below the 30-day prices: £4.50, £9, £13.50, £18, £22.50 and £27 per 30 days.29 If you kept the plan through 12 payments, the saving would run from £6 on 5GB to £36 on Unlimited Plus.

5GB£5£4.50£6
30GB£10£9£12
50GB£15£13.50£18
100GB£20£18£24
Unlimited Data£25£22.50£30
Unlimited Plus£30£27£36

The 30-day version is easier to stop: Lebara says you can cancel it by turning off auto-renew, while the remaining allowance stays usable until the plan expires.3 The annual version makes more sense when coverage is already proven, your needs are steady and the saving is worth the commitment.

Do the boring check: test Vodafone coverage where you actually use the phone before taking a 12-month price. A £1 monthly saving is not compensation for a year of standing beside the upstairs window.

What sits around the data

The shared extras are useful, with limits worth reading

Lebara says its UK plan allowances work while roaming in the EU or India at no extra cost, up to 30GB. Outside those areas, customers need a suitable roaming add-on or PAYG credit.6 The limit matters most on 50GB, 100GB and unlimited plans because the roaming ceiling is lower than the home allowance.

The 30-day deals page also advertises no annual price hikes, no credit checks and no long contract for the rolling range.1 Lebara's own product wording adds a sensible caveat: international-minute allowances, roaming and PAYG rates may still change.8

None of that solves poor local signal. Lebara uses Vodafone's network, so check home, work and any regular route before allowing an attractive table to make the decision for you.

The opening discount

The referral route halves the bill for three months

Lebara's referral page says a friend joining through a referral link can buy an eligible 30-day or 12-month plan and receive 50% off the first three months.5 On the current 30-day standard prices, that means £2.50, £5, £7.50, £10, £12.50 or £15 per payment during the introductory period.

The saving across those three payments ranges from £7.50 on 5GB to £45 on Unlimited Plus. Useful, yes. A reason to ignore the normal renewal price, no. Compare plans at their standard cost because that is the price with staying power.

  1. Start through the referral link. The discount is attached to the referral journey rather than a code added later.
  2. Choose the plan that fits at full price.Three cheaper payments should not push you into a £30 tier you would never otherwise buy.
  3. Read the order summary.Confirm the introductory price, number of discounted payments and standard renewal price before paying.
