MyLebara App Guide: Login, Plans, Usage and Top-Ups
MyLebara puts your allowance, credit, recent activity, top-ups and plan controls in one place. The useful trick is knowing which figure answers which question.
The short answer
What can you do in the MyLebara app?
Lebara's official app listing says MyLebara can take top-ups by credit card, debit card or PayPal, show balance and allowance, display recent activity and provide online support.1 The app itself is free, although using it over mobile data may consume data.1
Check usage
See what remains in the active plan and keep the separate cash balance from muddying the picture.
Manage money
Top up in the app, review recent activity and check that a payment has reached the right line.
Control the plan
Activate a plan, inspect its allowance and turn off auto-renew when you do not want another cycle.
Use the official Apple or Google listing, not an advert that happens to contain the right logo. The App Store listing currently requires iOS 15.1 or later.2
One account, two front doors
How to log in without making a muddle worse
- Open MyLebara.Use the official app, or go directly to Lebara's MyLebara login page in a browser.
- Use your account email and password.Lebara's web login asks for an email address and password.7
- Reset instead of guessing. If the password is wrong, use the official forgotten-password route. A tenth hopeful attempt rarely develops new talents.
- Register if there is no account. The official login page links to account registration for customers who have not set one up.7
- Check the selected mobile number. If the account contains more than one line, make sure you are looking at the right one before topping up or changing a plan.
Three figures that are easy to confuse
Read the dashboard in this order
1. Plan allowance
This is the data, minutes and texts left in the current plan. Lebara directs customers to MyLebara online or in the app to check plan balance, with 5588 as the spoken alternative.4
2. Credit balance
This is money held on the line, not spare data. Lebara also lets you check it by dialling *#1345# or calling 5588.3 Our number and balance guide explains the difference in more detail.
3. Recent activity and renewal
Check recent activity for a top-up or purchase, then look at whether the plan is set to renew. A healthy credit figure does not prove that an allowance is active, and an active allowance is not the same thing as cash credit.
Buying a plan is not the same as adding credit
Activate and check a plan
Lebara says a chosen plan can be activated on its website or by logging in to MyLebara.4 Before confirming, check the price, allowance, duration and renewal setting. If the screen only says "top up", you may be adding cash rather than buying the plan you expected.
After purchase, return to the dashboard and confirm that the active plan and its allowance appear. If you are setting up a brand-new line, follow the Lebara SIM activation steps first.
Need a new plan rather than account help? open the current Lebara referral offer, then confirm the displayed discount and normal renewal price before paying.
Add money, then check where it landed
How to top up in MyLebara
- Select the correct line. This matters if the account holds more than one mobile number.
- Choose the top-up option. The official app listing says card and PayPal payments are supported.1
- Check the amount before authorising.A misplaced zero is an expensive typographical flourish.
- Wait for confirmation.Keep the receipt or payment reference until the balance updates.
- Refresh the account once.Lebara says top-ups can take a couple of minutes to appear.3
If the top-up has not appeared after four hours, Lebara tells customers to contact its service team.3 Do not immediately repeat the payment unless you have confirmed that the first attempt failed. Two successful top-ups will not politely merge into one.
Stopping the next renewal
Turn off auto-renew in MyLebara
For a 30-day rolling SIM-only plan, Lebara says you can stop renewal through MyLebara on the website or in the app.5 Its instructions are to select the number on the dashboard, open Manage, choose the plan and toggle off auto-renew.5
Check the control again after changing it and keep any confirmation. Turning off auto-renew stops the next plan renewal; it does not normally erase the allowance already paid for. Lebara says the remaining plan allowance stays usable until the current plan expires.5
When the app has gone on strike
Fix common MyLebara app problems
- Check the connection.Try Wi-Fi if mobile data is exhausted, or mobile data if the Wi-Fi network is blocking the app.
- Close and reopen the app. Then refresh the dashboard once rather than hammering the payment button.
- Install the official update.Use the App Store or Google Play listing linked below, especially if the app refuses to open an older version.
- Try MyLebara in a browser. If the web account works, the line and credentials are probably sound and the fault is local to the app.
- Reset the password if necessary.Use Lebara's own reset page, then sign in afresh. Do not reuse a one-time security link sent for somebody else.
If both the app and website disagree with a payment receipt or plan confirmation, stop making changes and gather the mobile number, time, amount and transaction reference for support.
Still stuck
Contact Lebara with evidence, not a mystery
Lebara lists online chat and phone support from 7am to 11pm UK time every day. Call 5588 from a Lebara SIM, or +44 207 0310791 from another network or abroad. The second number may cost whatever your operator charges.6
Have the affected number, a screenshot with sensitive details covered, the time of the failed action and any payment reference ready. Never send a full card number, password or one-time code.

Quick answers
MyLebara app questions
What can I see in the MyLebara app?
The official listing includes balance and allowance, recent activity, top-ups and online support. Account screens can change between app versions.
Can I top up through MyLebara?
Yes. Lebara's official app listing says it accepts top-ups by credit card, debit card or PayPal.
Can I check remaining data in the app?
Yes. Open the plan allowance rather than relying on the separate cash-credit figure.
How do I stop a Lebara plan renewing?
Select the relevant number on the dashboard, open Manage, choose the plan and switch off auto-renew. Check that the setting remains off afterward.
Why has my top-up not appeared?
Refresh after a couple of minutes and keep the payment receipt. If it is still missing after four hours, contact Lebara rather than paying again by guesswork.
